“ El Tarasco is one of those spots that you can always count on being consistent. It's like that old blanket you had when you were a kid that your parents have kept on your old bed in your old room at the house you grew up in that they still live at. It may not be for everyone, but for those of us who like that certain type of Mexican food, this is the place. The portions are huge. The prices are reasonable and you can have a totally satisfying meal within 15 minutes, they have some of the best nachos I've had in Los Angeles. Really the only other place I can think of that outdoes their nachos is the Original Red Onion up in Rancho Palos Verdes. This is one of those places that unapologetically satisfies that urge for flavorful fast Mexican food. ”

“ This place is my go to for late night quality food. After some hard drinking I have to go here to soak up some of that alcohol with some great grub. The service is always on point and friendly. I always get the hard shell ground beef tacos. The shells are perfectly crispy with good flavor to it. The meat is tender and seasoned well. Another one of my favorites items is the wet burrito. This burrito is huge with tender chunky beef that melts in your mouth. The red sauce on the burrito is so good I always get extra on the side. The bonus is the chips and salsa they give you with your order for free. The salsa is delicious but not spicy like I like it. So I always get a side of their habanero sauce it's not on the menu so you'll have to just know that they have it. It's only outdoor seating at this location but I've honestly never eaten here I always take it to go. Overall this place is perfect if you want good tacos and wet burritos especially if your up late night craving it. ”

It was a cold wet rainy night and I placed my order ahead of time on the way over to the restaurant. By the time I arrived, they had not received the order yet, but they sure hustled to expedite my order for me. Needless to say it was hot and fresh and I Left fat and happy! ”
